One of the true “Old Pro’s” in the industry, Dugald Stermer has had a distinguished career as an art director, a designer and for the last 20 years, as an illustrator. A native of California, he graduated from UCLA with a BA degree in both Art and English Literature.

An author and an educator, Mr. Stermer has had a number of books published. He has written for both the AIGA and Communication Arts Magazine. For the last eight years he has served as the Chair of the Illustration Dept. of  the California College of Arts & Crafts. He is also on the board of both the Illustrators Partnership of America and the Illustrators Conference. Over the years he has won awards from most of the major arts organizations in America.
